There is a “tsukigata” in which the part where the handle is attached is shaped like a moon, and a “sashitoshi” in which the handle penetrates through to the inside of the joint.
The moon shape is used for general tea ceremony, and there are two types, one for the furnace and the other for the furnace. It is shaved, and for furnace use, the gap is large, and the cut surface is shaved diagonally.
Satsutsu is used for special tea ceremony and is not normally used.
When using the ladle, place the ladle face down on the furnace, and place the ladle face up on the furo.
In the case of a furo, the ladle is placed on the ladle after the hot water for washing the tea bowl has been poured, the okipara ladle after the hot water for making the tea has been poured, and the water is poured. There are three types of "Hikigara ladle".
