Ehoumaki(Makisushi) Cuisine in KyotoSame-day bookings are available

Beef bowl is very popular, especially among young men. Savoury and juicy sliced beef served over freshly cooked rice.

Ingredients(For two people)

Beef, thinly sliced 160g
Onion 1/2
Soup stock 150cc
Sliced ginger
Boiled rice
Red pickled ginger

Sake 2 tablespoons
Sweet sake(Mirin) 2 tablespoons
Sugar 3 teasspoons
Soy sauce(Shoyu) 2 tablespoons

Steps

1/Thinly cut an onion into wedges about 1cm.
Cut sliced beef ribs into bite length.

2/Boil the soup stock.
Put sliced ginger and [A] in a saucepan.

3/When boiling, put the beef and take the lye.
Add onions, cook and cook for about 5 minutes.

4/Serve over freshly cooked rice.
Boil the broth on rice.
Add red ginger as you like.
